we pull the raw data ourselves. defillama exports, arkham records, block explorers. it takes a whole afternoon and it's the only part nobody can fake.

we read the docs and the contracts before the pitch deck. usually they agree. when they don't, that's the article.

every number gets checked against transaction records and date-locked. we've killed pieces at this stage. it stings, but a wrong number costs more.

we build the graphics from the same dataset. slower than pulling a chart off twitter, but ours are ours.
